Dr Jae Choi

BDSc (UQ) – Principal Dentist

Jae is a local graduate from the University of Queensland. He has numerous years of experience in well respected private dental practices, as well as working for a government clinic in Tasmania before he decided to move back to Brisbane two years ago. Jae has a gentle approach to dental treatment and is a strong believer in minimal intervention, preventative and conservative dentistry.  He has a strong passion for improving not only your dental health but your general health and well being.

Jae has holistic approach to patient care, and loves all aspect of dentistry, he has special interests in:

  • Airway driven Orthodontics for children and adults
  • Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry including Implants
  • Dental Sleep Medicine
  • Muscular/Facial Pain Management

Providing an Enjoyable Dental Experience

As a dentist, Jae enjoys helping patients enjoy their experiences. “Many of them have told me, ‘I’m not afraid of going to the dentist anymore, because of you,’ and there is no greater compliment,” he says. He truly enjoys helping people avoid pain and dental emergencies, and feel better about the way their smiles look.

A Dedication to Education

In addition to his degree in dentistry, Jae also completed a Clinical Masters in Aesthetics and Restorative Dentistry. He is also currently completing further education in Orthopaedic/Orthodontics and Dental Sleep Medicine in Sydney.

Australian dentists are required to have 60 continuing education hours every three years, but Jae has recently accumulated over 300 hours.

Away from the practice, Jae enjoys spending time with family and friends, and playing sports such as baseball, soccer and golf. Jae also goes overseas to India every year for Medical Mission Trips where he provides medical and dental treatments to patients in need.


Dr Christine PHAN

BDSc (UQ) – Associate Dentist

Born and raised in Brisbane, Dr Christine Phan graduated locally at the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Pharmacy. After several years of working and finding that she wanted to be in a more involved health care environment, Dr Phan undertook several more years of postgraduate training to achieve her Bachelor of Dental Science and graduated with Honours.

A meticulous and conscientious practitioner, Dr Christine Phan delights in providing the best quality work to patients and addressing their concerns in an easy to explain manner. Furthermore she is always seeking to improve her skills by regularly attending varied continuing professional development courses, with special focus on cosmetic and children’s dentistry.

When Dr Christine Phan is not in the office saving the world one tooth at a time, she is generally found indulging her own sweet tooth at numerous Brisbane eateries, travelling around the world and eating some more, and taking photographic evidence of these culinary events with her SLR camera.




Dr Gary Brierly

BDSc (UQ) – Associate Dentist

Gary is also a graduate of the University of Queensland, and holds a degree in Bachelor of Dental Science. Gary is currently studying Medicine at the University of Queensland and completing a PhD at the Queensland University of Technology in bone healing.

Dr Brierly has special interests in:

  • Dentoalveolar Surgery including Wisdom Teeth Extractions
  • General Dentistry

When not studying or working, Gary enjoys playing sports including rugby, soccer and golf. Gary is a big eater and enjoys dining with his family and friends.


Stephanie O’Brien


Dental Assistant

Stephanie is a young vibrant and cheerful person who works as a dental assistant and a receptionist.

Stephanie plays a big role at Jindalee Complete Dental  is a valuable member of the team. She currently holds Certificate III in Dental Assisting and she is always eager to learn and develop her skills.

Outside of work, Stephanie loves spending time with her close knit family and friends.

Victoria (Tori)

Dental Assistant and Receptionist

Tori is a born and bred Brisbane girl who enjoys the excitement of experiencing different aspects of dentistry.

Tori currently holds Certificate III in Dental Assisting and is keen to pursue further studies in the dental field. She works both clinically and also at the reception.

Outside of work, Tori enjoys hanging around with friends and family and also plays soccer.



Our team desires to provide patients with a comfortable and relaxed dental experience.
